The exchange "Within Nature"
will be held in the middle of Aboboreira Mountains in Marco de Canaveses,
between 22 to 30 March 2013, and will bring together 25 young people from five
countries. The project main mission is to promote healthier and more
sustainable behaviors near the youngsters through outdoor activities (hiking,
visits, urban orientation, observation of birds, etc) and sports (downhill on
the river, slackline, etc.) as well as social inclusion and active
participation.
A major objective of this project is to raise
awareness among young people for the preservation and conservation of the
natural heritage through guided tours and informal conversations with experts
and local associations. This program of activities wants to encourage and
develop of skills and "green" behaviors among young people. All
activities will be developed based on non-formal education.
