Within Nature

The exchange "Within Nature" will be held in the middle of Aboboreira Mountains in Marco de Canaveses, between 22 to 30 March 2013, and will bring together 25 young people from five countries. The project main mission is to promote healthier and more sustainable behaviors near the youngsters through outdoor activities (hiking, visits, urban orientation, observation of birds, etc) and sports (downhill on the river, slackline, etc.) as well as social inclusion and active participation.

A major objective of this project is to raise awareness among young people for the preservation and conservation of the natural heritage through guided tours and informal conversations with experts and local associations. This program of activities wants to encourage and develop of skills and "green" behaviors among young people. All activities will be developed based on non-formal education.

Eurocircle France

Founded in 1993 in Berlin, since 2006 EUROCIRCLE is a European NGO that develops and produces transnational projects, particularly in the field of international youth mobility. These projects aim to foster the emergence of European citizenship, intercultural based on the values of tolerance, equality, peace, ecology and solidarity. 

Praxis

PRAXIS is a youth non-governmental  organization in Serres, in North Greece which has activities in culture , media and environmental fields.It was founded in 1995 in order to offer a broad spectrum of cultural activities to the town youth and involve them in cultural issues. PRAXIS works as a sending and a hosting EVS organization since 1998 ( HEI n. 2010-GR-29) and co-operates with the municipal cultural centre of Serres, several Greek universities, local University, UNESCO, the cultural ministry,  General Secretary for Youth, Ecological groups, and other institutions. The main office with the radio station “Rodon FM” in the center of Serres co-operates with PRAXIS. It broadcasts current news and information about all kinds of events in Serres as well as long music broadcasts with Greek and international quality music. Radio Rodon Fm gives young people the possibility to make their own broadcasts; everybody can come and play music. Furthermore we run the Youth Information Center in Serres and a computer laboratory .  Media and communication is one of main activities. The mission of Praxis is to provide opportunities at the pan-European and Mediterranean level to all young people without discrimination, prejudice or exclusion.
MAIN ACTIVITIES: “PRAXIS” organize/cooperate/support events, like: music concerts, exhibitions, book presentations, youth creation contests.
Electronically Campaigns via computer/internet on sensitive social issues, like: Olympic trace, against social exclusion, protect the environment, equal opportunities, international year for people with  special needs, water...
Radio Campaigns: via radio spots on air with social messages and Young people express their ideas, music via radio show/broadcast and via blogger.
Computer Lab: for children/young adults with special needs, playing games, learn basic computer use.
Youth Information Center: Provide information & opportunities for young people
“Praxis” work for International Unesco days: cooperating with the all the schools from Serres area.
“Praxis” publishes, created by the volunteers e-magazine “MEDIART”, which contains articles, comments and opinions, not only about the main work fields of PRAXIS: culture, media and environment.

Sirena

Drustvo Sirena is the student association of the Faculty of Education Koper, founded in 2005. It consists of a group of active students (19-29 years old) who organize extracurricular activities for all the students of our faculty. These activities include: various workshops, roundtables, faculty´s traditional picnic, student forums, support in competition, sport activities, international exchanges, exhibitions, freshmen parties, get-to-know parties, movie nights...

Experimentáculo

The youth organization Experimentáculo Associação Cultural is a non-Governmental organization with the mission to promote cultura, art and patrimony. Experimentáculo was founded in 2006, in Setúbal, Portugal, and since then has been implemented more than 100 projects and activities.

Experimentáculo promotes concerts (e.g. F.U.M.O. festival), movie festivals (e.g. Curtas Sadinas), produces documentaries and short-movies and gives formation on those areas. Experimentáculo works as well with Youth in Action program.

Youth in action

Youth in Action is a European Union program for youth. Aims to inspire a sense of active European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and their involvement in shaping the future of the European Union. The program promotes mobility within and beyond European borders, non-formal education, intercultural dialogue, and encourages the inclusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social or cultural.

The European Exchange is a project which brings together groups of young people from two or more countries, providing them the opportunity to discuss and confront various themes, whilst learning about the country and culture of each. A European exchange based on a transnational partnership between two or more promoters from different countries.

The European Exchange allows one or more groups of youths are hosted by a group from another country, in order to participate in a joint program of activities. These projects involve the active participation of young people and are designed to allow them to discover and become aware of different social and cultural realities, should also contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and European citizenship.

The European exchanges allow young people to gain experience outside their national context, allowing them to compare and share different social and cultural contexts, promoting thus mutual learning, by actively participating in a number of activities of common interest.

The European exchanges allow young people to "live" in Europe, reinforcing thus European citizenship.
